About the tour

• Discover the local culinary in İstanbul with a small group of people at the evening walking food tour by the local guide, exploring the local’s life and cuisine in European side of İstanbul.
• Have a chance of tasting the Turkiye’s variety food in Fatih district (which called historical peninsula) throughout the golden horn neighborhood.
• Join a small group and enjoy the food in local places with a local english speaking guide.

Tour program

• We will be walking and stopping in different places for eating ( in some places we will sit and eat, in some places we will stand and eat).
• there won’t be any transportation
•  start walking towards where local people live and work.
• we will pass by a bridge which is located in Golden Horn and where cars pass over and reach taksim.
• we will stop by the seaside of Golden Horn and you may enjoy taking some pictures throughout there.
• we will take a walk to the neighbourhood as  known women’s market ( kadınlar pazarı in türkish) which is popular with bringing most of product from Southeast Anatolia like meat, cheese, honey, grape molasses, butter and much more product.
• Tour it starts at 17:00 pm in front of Spice baazar
  
• Ends at 22:00 pm.
• Next to Beyazıt tram stop, Near the Grand bazaar.

• İn front of Egyptian  baazar (Spice baazar) next to tourısm police cabin. The spice baazar Gate which is facing the Galata Tower and Galata Bridge / next to Yeni camii( New Mosque) in Eminönü.
• İf you take the tram, get off in Eminönü, pass the trafic lights and walk thoughout to spice baazar and before you get into the spice baazar there is a police cabin on the right sıde where your guide will meet you.

Street food

• Soup (Veg)
• White rice made with cheakpeas (Veg)
• Stuffed mussels. (Fish)
• çiğ köfte (Veg)
  (which is made of wheat tomate paste, pepper paste, oninon, salt, oil, pomegranate syrup, lemon juice and water.
• Lahmacun (M)
  Lahmacun is made of minced meat spices and vegetables. (türkish pizza)
• Büryan kebap (M)
  (Büryan is made of lamb by cooking the whole lamb ( with it’s organs removed) over a wood fire in a well covered with mud, cooking approximately 2-3 meters deep inside  well.Eating dessert while standing.
• Dessert is known as halka tatlısı (which is made of pastry, sugar, egg, milk, oil Etc
• Our Last stop will be in Çorlulu AliPaşa Medresisi (Ancient Madrasa Education Center) we gonna relax and drink some Türkish tea or Türkish coffee.
•  Tour guide will assist you to finish the tour in Beyazıt /Grand bazaar tram stop where the distance is beetwen 10-12 minutes walking to hipodrome in sultanahmet.
